The Dressmaker is an Australian film touching upon the subjects of requital and comic drama. The story that the film takes after is of a craftsman in the calling of a dressmaker as she returns to the place where she grew up keeping in mind the end goal to deal with her debilitated mother, who is on her deathbed. The town has a past with the dressmaker and the horrendous past drags up at the end of the day, the main contrast being, she is currently arranged to settle the scores. The film rotates around the topics of vengeance and innovativeness generally while enjoying some dark comic drama once in a while.
